The Amherst Gaelic League has supported numerous Irish and community organizations for years. As a direct result of your continuing generosity, we were able to contribute to the efforts of the following organizations since last year’s party:
- Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Refugee Resettlement Program
- Supporting ministry to provide clean, furnished and welcoming homes for displaced families
- Buffalo Fenians Gaelic Athletic Association
- Supporting their Youth Team dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Gaelic Games and Irish culture in our community
- UB Libraries James Joyce Collection
- Supporting the goal of creating a UB James Joyce Museum to help share this renowned collection with a wider and more inclusive audience
- WNY Irish Famine Memorial
- Supporting the Buffalo based monument honoring those who died in the Great Famine of Ireland
Thank you for enabling us to support such worthwhile causes!!
